It's Sunday morning and you're ready for church service. You walk in to and notice there's a guest preacher who's long winded today, the choir that sings all hymns are in the choir stand, and Sister So and So in in your seat! HMMP! You still take a seat, but you've already tuned yourself out from praise and worship because of your train of thought. Has anyone (including myself) been guilty of this? Be honest saints. When we come into God's house we come in order to receive something. How many of us come into God's house to give something? We are giving God conservative praise and worship. A little hand clap here maybe a little amen there barely listening to the preacher. What if God gave out conservative blessings? No blessings running over that there's no room to receive them. Makes you think about it different. But, it's awesome that we serve a God that love's us unconditionally and forgives us. Just think you may have missed a good word that God was sending to you by ignoring that preacher. Instead listening to the choir's voice listen to the words as you worship (Wor-worthy + Ship-relationship): God is worthy of ALL praise. Open your heart up to fellowship with Sister So and So and receive what God has given and what you can give to Him. Your conservative praise and worship could be blocking your spiritual growth and blessings.
OH MAGNIFY THE LORD WITH ME FOR HE IS WORTHY TO BE PRAISED!
